How do I create a new household?
To create a new household, tap on the "+" button in the Households tab and follow the on-screen instructions to name your household and invite members.
How do I invite family members to my household?
Open your household, go to the Members section, and tap "Invite Member." You can then enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
How do recurring chores work?
When creating or editing a chore, toggle on the "Recurring" option. You can then select how often the chore repeats (daily, weekly, monthly) and set an end date if needed. When a recurring chore is completed, the next occurrence is automatically scheduled.
Why am I not receiving notifications?
Please ensure notifications are enabled for MyChores in your device settings. In the app, go to Settings > Notifications to customize your notification preferences.
How does the points system work?
Each chore is assigned a point value (default is 1 point). When you complete a chore, you earn those points. Points accumulate for weekly and monthly leaderboards, and certain point milestones unlock special badges.
How do I earn badges?
Badges are earned by completing specific achievements, such as completing your first chore, maintaining a streak of daily activity, or reaching certain point milestones. Visit the Achievements section to view available badges and your progress.
Can I reset my password?
Yes, on the login screen, tap "Forgot Password" and follow the instructions to reset your password through your email.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Privacy > Delete My Account. Please note that this action is permanent and will remove all your data from our servers.
